Kyle Wayne Byrd

Kyle Wayne Byrd, IDSA

IDSA  JMU Student Chapter Treasurer

Kyle Byrd was raised in the small town of Gloucester, VA where he was surrounded by life on the water. Much of his inspiration is drawn from growing up on the Rappahannock and it motivates him toward sustainable design. He has gone from helping start a CAD class at his high school to studying industrial design at James Madison University. He feels fortunate to be where he is. Though he may not have known exactly what the field was called, he never questioned his love for designing products.
