The Xserve is Apple’s answer to computer muscle in a small space. The server can be arranged in an industry standard 42U rack, in which configuration of the server rack would have 630 GB of processing power and 20 terabytes of internal disk space. Each server has independent drive bays for hot-plug internal storage and hot swapping.
