IDSA's Board of Directors may confer, by a two-thirds majority vote, a fellowship membership to a member in good standing who has earned the special respect and affection of the membership through distinguished service to the industrial design profession.
IDSA's policy is to include in this list anyone who has been granted fellowship by the Society, regardless of their current membership status. This list has been derived through careful research of records; however, if you believe there is an error, please notify Jill Richardson at IDSA.
Recommendations are made by current IDSA members by using the candidate submission form linked below. IDSA's Fellowship Committee reviews all candidates using a standardized rating system that evaluates the individual's contributions to IDSA and the industrial design profession.
After discussion, the Fellowship Committee makes their recommendations to the IDSA Board of Directors.
Fellowship is conferred by a two-thirds vote of the board of directors.
The nomination deadline for IDSA Fellowship is June 1 each year. Questions? Contact Karen Foust by email or at 703.707.6000 x111.
