The IDSA Austin (ATX) Chapter serves the networking and professional development needs of industrial designers in Austin, Texas and surrounding areas. Some of the activities and events that the Austin Chapter has produced include lectures, studio tours, and collaborations with other professional design organizations. In 2006 and 2014, Austin was the site of IDSA’s International Design Conference and Education Symposium which brought together designers from around the world for design dialogue and discourse.

IDSA Austin also supports design students in the area, including the University of Texas at Austin. We encourage a strong partnership between the student chapters and the professional chapter that includes portfolio reviews, career development, and social events.

The chapter officers below were elected to position by members of the Austin Chapter and hold a two-year term.
