2011 IDSA Award Winners Announced

At the 2011 International Conference in New Orleans, IDSA handed out its IDSA Awards. In January, IDSA invited all members in good standing to champion candidates for the Academy of Fellows, the Personal Recognition Award, Education Awards and the Special Award. Once all of the nominations were received, the 2011 Awards Committee reviewed the nominations and sent their recommendations to the Board of Directors for final approval.

Each year, the five National Student Merit winners are invited to display their work at the International Conference. Additionally, this year IDSA handed trophies to our five Student Merit Award Winners during the International Conference. This elevated recognition serves to connect undergraduate design students with IDSA's international scope while honoring them in an arena for academic design achievement.
