Looking for a Few Good Candidates
After several years of rethinking and restructuring, 2010 represented the first financially positive year in many for IDSA. Continuing into 2011, the society has now demonstrated consistent financial discipline and stability. Our next challenge is to continue making the changes you said we need to make. This involves enhancing our services and programs and smartly growing in ways that are relevant to you and the design community at-large. This will only be possible with member support in helping the Nomination and Election Committee identify the right candidates from our membership to serve on the Board of Directors. From July 11 until Aug. 12 the official call is open! Offer your recommendations.
Last year the governance of the organization was strengthened by your vote to change the bylaws to offset the terms of half of the board.
